Sizing Tips

Fit: Most of our items are made with a generous fit allowing for more comfort. Some of our items are a modern fit, a bit more tapered and shaped, more accommodating to a slimmer build.

Ties: Our Ties are approximately 56 inches in length.

Belts: We recommend that you order the next even size up from your waist size.

Measuring

Neck: Measure around the middle of your neck at your Adam's apple. Allow room for your index finger to fit between the tape and your neck for a comfortable fit.

Chest: With your arms at your side measure around your upper body. Measure under your armpits and over the fullest part of your chest and shoulder blades.

Sleeve: Measure from the center of the back of your neck to your wrist.

Waist: Measure around your natural waistline at the height you normally wear your pants.

Head: Measure around head above brow ridges.

The Hart Schaffner Marx New York Fit Sport Coat combines timeless American tailoring with luxurious Italian fabric for a sophisticated, modern look. The rich deep olive and emerald base is woven with subtle taupe and blue details, creating a dimensional pattern that pairs beautifully with navy, charcoal, taupe, or denim.

The fabric is made with wool and bamboo-derived viscose by Botto Giuseppe in Biella, Italy, a renowned Italian textile region. A blend of 78% wool and 22% viscose from bamboo gives the jacket a refined hand and comfortable feel while maintaining the polished appearance expected from Hart Schaffner Marx.

Cut in the New York Fit, this sport coat features a tailored silhouette for a clean, contemporary profile without looking overly slim. Dual back vents provide ease of movement and complete the classic tailored construction.
