Ted’s Clothiers originally opened in 1975 as a tailor shop.
Ted is a master tailor who takes the time to make sure everything is done correctly and displays the look the customer wants to see. We tailor about 80% of the clothing we sell all in house. That’s right, we don’t ship it out to another location, your clothing simply moves to the back of the store and into the hands of our expert tailors. Not only does this mean that we can turn items around quickly if needed, it also means that if you are looking for something specific, or have a “hard to fit” body, our tailors see the garment on you and mark it themselves. They are also able to open garments to see if the necessary alterations obtainable, ie. there is enough material inside the coat/pants to get it to where it needs to be. And if you ever rip a seam in your pants or loose a button before a presentation we have you covered!
Tailoring is included on everything we sell in store, with the exception of shirts, which means the price you see is the price you pay. No more questioning of how much will this cost to tailor after the fact. It also means you can add those bespoke touches to your garment to make it unique and yours! We are a family run business and we treat our clients as family. As your family, we want you looking sharp for any event life throws at you.
