Chris Vasilas
For Chris Vasilas, Ted's Clothiers isn't just a business—it's been a lifelong passion. He began working in the store at just 12 years old, cleaning, unpacking inventory, and pricing merchandise before eventually earning his place on the sales floor. After graduating from college, Chris joined Ted's full-time and further honed his craft by attending Emily Griffith Opportunity School in the evenings to study tailoring, giving him a deep understanding of garment construction, fit, and the art of menswear.
Over the years, Chris has helped grow Ted's Clothiers from a small neighborhood men's store into one of Colorado's premier menswear destinations. Today, he combines decades of hands-on experience with a genuine passion for helping clients build confidence through exceptional style. Whether he's creating a custom wardrobe, fitting the perfect suit, or introducing someone to their new favorite pair of shoes, his focus remains the same: delivering outstanding service, building lasting relationships, and making every customer feel valued.
Chris's personal style is fashion-forward while remaining timeless, guided by one philosophy: "Dress for success. There's nothing wrong with being the best-dressed man in the room." His favorite brand at Ted's is Magnanni, admired for its exceptional craftsmanship, comfort, and attention to detail.
Outside the store, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He's a fan of iced coffee during the day and an espresso martini when it's time to unwind. Many customers are surprised to learn that he once played professional basketball in Greece, a reflection of his lifelong connection to his Greek heritage.

Ted Vasilas
For more than five decades, Ted Vasilas has built Ted's Clothiers on a simple philosophy: treat every customer like family, provide exceptional craftsmanship, and help every man look and feel his best.
Originally from Arta, Greece, Ted learned the art of sewing as a young boy, helping his mother and sisters mend socks and garments. In 1973, he immigrated to the United States to marry his wife, Angeliki, bringing with him a strong work ethic, a passion for tailoring, and the dream of creating a better life for his family. He began working in a small men's clothing store in downtown Denver, specializing in alterations, while attending Emily Griffith Opportunity School in the evenings to study tailoring and English. He later continued his education at Metropolitan State University to strengthen his business knowledge and language skills.
In 1975, Ted and Angeliki purchased their own men's clothing store, and Ted's Clothiers was born. What started as a neighborhood menswear shop has grown into one of Colorado's most trusted destinations for quality clothing, expert tailoring, custom menswear, and exceptional customer service.
Ted's greatest joy is seeing generations of families return to Ted's Clothiers for life's most important moments—from first job interviews and weddings to graduations and milestone celebrations. Building lasting relationships with customers has always been just as important to him as providing perfectly tailored clothing.
Known for his classic, updated style, Ted believes that great menswear never goes out of fashion. His advice is timeless: choose colors that complement your complexion, wear clothing that fits properly, and don't chase trends. As he often says, "Great menswear is about more than clothing—it's about giving people the confidence to succeed in every aspect of their lives."
His favorite item in the store is the Jack Victor Traveler Pant, appreciated for its exceptional fit, comfort, and wrinkle-resistant performance. Outside the store, Ted enjoys spending time with his wife, family, friends, and their four children and ten grandchildren. An avid golfer and traveler, he continues to bring the same passion and curiosity to life that inspired him to pursue the American dream over 50 years ago.
Today, Ted's legacy lives on through the thousands of customers he has served, the generations of families who continue to shop at Ted's Clothiers, and the enduring belief that quality, integrity, and personal service never go out of style.
