Congratulations!!! You have popped the BIG question and are now searching to find outfits for you and your crew (aka wedding members).
This short guide will help start you on the right path…
Rentals
Sure rentals are easy, convenient and, inexpensive compared to the price of purchasing the outfit. Most rentals are around $300 depending on your time frame on necessity and style of Tux/Suit you pick out. While most rentals do come in slim & classic fits, you must keep in mind “IT”S A RENTAL” & it’s constructed to fit multiple body types in that size. Typically the only alterations a shop are available to do is the length of the sleeves and pants. So be sure to use a try on garment if available to get a sense of how the rental will fit on you.
The Styles you can choose from in rentals are going to be pretty basic Black,Charcoal, Light Grey, Tan, & maybe a couple patterned suits but mostly solids. You will have a variety of colors / patterens to choose from in the vest and tie options making it seamless to coordinate with the bridesmaids dresses. Now notice I said “coordinate” because the material of the dress maybe a little off, the colors might not match up, but that is OK.
It will provide a depth to the photos and connect the wedding party.
In conclusion my expert opinion, for the best results, is to rent for your wedding party and for the groom purchase.
See the purchase guide below to get started…
Purchase
Purchasing is more of an investment & the way that you can get your favorite Pintrest wedding outfit designed as you imagined.
Also, Choosing Off the Rack or Custom Made also provides opportunities to customize and alter for that perfect fit
Off the rack is great for smaller wedding parties of 4-6.The price point of purchase will start at $300 (Off the Rack) and go up from there depending on the quality of the material. This is the best way for everyone to get the fit they want in the same color altered the way they see fit. To finish you can always rent the vest or tie that matches the bridesmaids or fine a purchase tie that matches well.
Custom Suiting is my recommendation at least for the groom because it is made to your body, you can choose the fabric, color, pattern, buttons, liner, etc that best fits your big day image. Its also a lot of fun picking out a suit just made for you. Now they can be pricey starting out at $900 and going up because of the fabric and extra you can add but you won’t regret it.
All in all if you purchase there in no limit to your options for your big day.
Which one will you choose?
